Machetes, sharp and long knives.

Sledgehammers, heavier but it always makes an impact.

Axe, long range and reliable.

Honorable mention to: flamethrower, crossbow, and morgenstern.

    I disagree, good sir. With a flamethrower, you would simply have zombies running at you on fire. Double threat.
