In Scotland, there's an old saying: "if it fits in the fryer, it can be fried." I think it include shoes, body parts, animals, other food, other smaller fryers, hats, kids, pies, pizza (I've had some), sausage (same, had some of that), burgers (those are good), insects, and toy cars.
